Fauzie//Closer Review by Diyana D'Kambing

Fauzie was late! Cos it was raining and we were early! It felt weird cos I was not into much Malay music but I decided to go for the showcase because I thought it might be a good start to knowing more about Malay music.(Personal opinion, don't include hehe).

The overall ambience was just right. Fauzie started off with Inikah Cinta and I really liked that song because of the upbeat tempo and the joy from hearing it. He sang with his own style and it was really good.

He did a nice twist to Datuk Siti Nurhaliza's 'Aku Cinta Padamu' and proceeded with a 2 English songs- Sunday morning(Maroon 5) as far as I know only Adam Levine can carry off the song well but Fauzie did a wonderful twist to the song too!

He sang Ordinary People with his brother, Faris but oh boy they were extraordinary-two variations of vocals combined! But the highlight of the day was 'Izinkan' his latest single and it was superb! Job well done! Not only that Fauzie is humble and down-to-earth. A great personality from an up and coming local artiste!

I wasn't really a fan of any Malay artiste but you're the first! I wish you success all the way and keep living the dreams we are dreaming about! Insya'allah more Fauzie Laily showcases!! =)
